Who you are is not set in stone. You get to choose who you are. There are so many things about you that you can mould, adopt, and develop. That includes your behavior, your temperament, your attitude, and even your personality.
You will make this choice either indirectly or directly – unintentionally or intentionally. If you value who you are or really want to be the best version of yourself, you dramatically increase your ability to be the person you want to be if you intentionally (1) choose who you want to be and (2) work toward it.
So, accepting that you can sit down and design the character traits, temperament, and personality that you want, what would you choose? What character traits would you want to adopt into your life?
After reviewing many of the most sought after character traits out there, I have compiled this list. I’ll add more as time goes on, I’m sure. But for now, here are the 12 character traits that I find most important. These are highlighted and discussed in detail in my new book, Live a Happier, Fuller Life.
