“One of the ways that I believe people express their appreciation to the rest of humanity is to make something wonderful and put it out there.” – Steve Jobs
Oh, my goodness, I am so grateful for people like Steve Jobs. He was just a man and had his faults, but I think all will agree that he contributed a great benefit to humankind through his work and vision.
Vision is a great word to describe this man. He constantly stepped back and saw humanity as the entity he was serving.
This quote exemplifies his inborn philosophy.
Gratitude and appreciation are always the motivators of those who serve. Gratitude and appreciation are feelings. When we, as humans, ‘feel’ we naturally desire to express that feeling.
Expressing these feelings by contributing to humanity in your special way is how Steve Jobs perceived great works of art, something wonderful that people make.
The antithesis of this idea is that those who don’t feel gratitude don’t create, don’t contribute.
My invitation to you…
Feel the gratitude, create greatness, contribute to humanity. — Ben Balden
How can you gratitude? Remember. Focus. Think about those things you are glad to have. Count them. Ponder them. ACTION STEP: everyday, commit to writing down three things you are grateful for.
How can you create something wonderful? Reach within yourself. Think of something you did that brought you joy. Explore this. Find your special spark. Fan it. You will soon know what wonderful thing you can create and … put it out there.
