Your problem is that it’s not your fault.
You want it to be your fault.
Most of the time, when people have a ‘problem’ they think it is due to something that happened to them, specifically something that someone else did or come characteristic of someone. That is, they are blaming their problems on an external issue, a stimulus.
The problem with this that by removing the problem from themselves, they also remove the solution or the power to resolve the problem.
When the solution to your problem is out there, that fact is actually your problem.
You can’t do anything about a problem you don’t own.
If it’s not your fault, you are basically powerless. All the power lies with someone else, whom you have arbitrarily assigned your problem to. You are held captive by whether they will do something about it or not.
The best scenario is if it is YOUR FAULT.
Even if you truly believe that the problem came from something someone did or some characteristic of someone in your life, if you can find ANY FAULT in the situation, you have taken back your power.
Just say that it’s your fault and look for evidence to prove that it’s your fault.
Once it’s your fault and you are NOT REQUIRING ANYONE ELSE TO CHANGE or do something or be someone different, you now have power. You can unilaterally fix the problem, whether the participate or cooperate or not.
The solution is that it’s your fault and YOU CHANGE. When you change, the world is yours to create.
