Looking for your life’s purpose?
Everyone lives to serve. Therein they find meaning. Your life’s purpose will only be found in service to others.
Many times in our lives we are met by a need to find some meaning and purpose. Another way to look at this is your ingrained desire or need to contribute. And contributions, by definition, have some group or cause you are contributing to. For the great majority of us, that means serving.
By finding that person, group, or cause to “take a stand for,” you sign up to devote yourself to serve.
So, when you are looking for a life’s purpose, becoming a millionaire or any other self-serving plot might not cut it. And the reason it won’t stick is because there are so many things that we would go to the ends of the Earth to do for others that we wouldn’t do for us. A life’s purpose needs to have meaning, substance, and a sense of contributing to something bigger than ourselves.
So, look for those who you can contribute to in a meaningful way.
