Take inventory of your life
- As you approach New Years, it’s a perfect time to set goals.
- However, consider pausing for a moment to review your life to take inventory of how things are going.
- These moment of introspection can sometimes reveal vital information you may have been missing.
- Without taking a moment to pause and assess your life from a higher level, you run the risk of running an imbalanced life.
- Take a balanced look at all significant areas of your life: health, character, relationships, career, finances, and lifestyle.

1. Rate your life. How satisfied are you with your life as it currently is?
(not satisfied at all) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 (very satisfied)
2. Do you feel you know what you want in life?

3. How is your health? Is it the way you want it? Rate it from 1 to 10 and describe it.
4. What about your character, your personality, or the person you have become? Are you who you want to be? Rate yourself from 1 to 10 in this category and describe.
5. How are your relationships (rate 1-10)? Describe.
6. What about your job, your life’s mission or occupation? How do you rate yourself in that area (between 1 to 10)? Describe.
7. What about financial or material possession? Are you self-sufficient or self-reliant? Have you provided for yourself and those under your care? Rate your level of wealth from 1 to 10 and describe.
8. How is your lifestyle? Your work/life balance? Your freedom? Rate your lifestyle from 1 to 10 and describe your current situation.
