Have you written out a mission statement for your life? Or put together some life goals? Where are those goals?
I have seen many people go to great lengths to put together a life’s mission statement or goals and then put them in a safe place. They never look at it again.
“When you DON’T remember your life’s mission, that mission becomes your life’s omission.” – Ben Balden
Yes. I’m quoting myself.
When you have a mission you want to write into your subconscious navigation system, you need to review it often. You will not only want to put it where you can see it often, but you need to consciously make an effort to review it daily.
Here are some steps to help you
1) MEMORIALIZE – Memorialize your statement in writing. A must.
2) POST – Put it in a place that you can see it often or carry it with you.
3) VISIT – Make a daily homage to your mission statement or goals.
4) USE – Ensure when questions come up or when you are faced with a choice, you refer to your mission statement or goal to let that vision guide you in what direction you must take.
